At Spitroast.com, we make catering your function easy. With something on the menu to suit everyone’s taste, including dairy free, vegetarian and vegan options, all you have to do is choose what you want to serve your guests and send us your booking form. We’ll take care of everything else.
Wherever the party is, we’ll be there!
We can cater anywhere you like – at your venue or ours. At the park or in your workshop… even at the boss’ house. Wherever you plan to hold your party, we can be there.
We bring everything you need.
And if that’s not enough to tempt you, as well as delicious food, we’ll bring everything you need – the crockery and cutlery, the buffet table and serving ware and the staff to serve it, bar staff too if you need them. We’ll even clean up and take away any rubbish afterwards.
We’ve even got DIY options!
If you’d rather do it yourself, you can choose one of our DIY options. We’ll just deliver the food to your venue ready to serve, or you can pick it up from our kitchen if that suits you better.

Meet your local Christchurch-based specialist spitroast caterers, Dee, Nicky and Steve.
We’re a family business and love celebrating special occasions! We also love taking care of people and will make sure that you receive great service and delicious food without the hassle, whether you choose to pick up the food and serve it yourselves, or choose our fully serviced option.
Believing in ‘shop local’ whenever possible, we use meat that is sourced locally around Canterbury. The beef and lamb we serve is grass fed, free range, and our pork, Eco-barned. For a small additional charge, we can also serve your guests free range chicken.
We enjoy life and want to make sure that other people can too. We believe in paying our staff members well, and all those who are part of our permanent team get paid above the living wage; we simply think that it’s the fair and equitable thing to do.
